Season information

NAB AFL Auskick - April - August 2023. Our First Session will be Sunday 30th April 9.00am to 10.30am. For session dates and level one activities. See Level 1 program below

Ages 5 - 12 Years Old. Age is calculated as at 31/12/2023.

Total Auskick cost - $100 for 2023

Additional information

Port Melbourne Auskick will run on Sunday mornings from 9am to 10:30am.

The NAB AFL Auskick program operates on a volunteer basis and we need the help of parents to make sure the Auskickers are having a great time. Every year we call on parents to help us make every session a success. It’s not onerous and you don’t need to be a seasoned coach. Just help to keep the kids moving and having fun is all there is to it. If you are able to assist please email our Auskick co-ordinator.

Level 1 Program

Sunday, April 30, 2023 Round 1

This session is made up of activities that will teach your Auskickers fundamental motor and footy skills, alongside game-based activities that replicate footy-match scenarios. Activities include: Around the World, Handball Heroes, Ruckman’s Treasure, 'Here, There, Everywhere', and to finish, a Mini Match. Each activity is fun and playful and is an awesome first taste to the program.These activities are super fun and playful and will have Auskickers wanting to come back for more! And remember, having fun is the aim of the game!

Sunday, May 7, 2023 Round 2

This session is made up of activities that will teach your Auskickers fundamental motor and footy skills through some fun game-based activities that will keep your Auskickers engaged and loving it! Activities include: Footy Ninja, Super Boot, Ruckman’s Treasure, ‘Here, There, Everywhere’, and to finish, a Mini Match.

Sunday, May 14, 2023 Round 3 Mothers Day
Welcome to the third session for Level 1 NAB AFL Auskick! Let’s consolidate on the first two sessions and have a heap of fun! The activities in this session will continue to develop your Auskickers fundamental motor and footy skills, and the fun game-based activities will replicate footy-match scenarios. Activities include: Footy Magic Tricks, Mad Marks, Coast to Coast, Angry Ogre and to finish, a Mini Match.Some new super fun activities this week should be the perfect way to run Session 3!Keep it fun and full of energy and the Auskickers will love it!

This session we encourage the Auskickers to bring a fiend down how is not already at Auskick. This session is about making everybody feel welcome. Activities include: Footy Ninja, Handball Heroes, Coast to Coast, Angry Ogre and to finish, a Mini Match.
