Welcome to Port Melbourne Colts Junior Football Club season 2025.

Port Melbourne Colts is a community-based junior football club. Our culture is grounded in family values. We strive to provide girls and boys a sense of fulfilment, pride and belonging within their teams, their club and the local community. We promote teamwork, respect, effort and improvement and our coaches work diligently to develop every player to their potential.

As a community club we rely heavily upon our volunteers to provide significant value to all of our players and families. Every family is expected to contribute to rostered duties throughout the year. Further detail on club philosophies, values, expectations, policies, key dates and rostered duties are available on our website and will be regularly communicated by team managers.

Port Colts is an affiliate of the South Metro Junior Football League. Our healthy culture is regularly acknowledged by the SMJFL through awards including: “Best Conducted Club” (twice), “Runner-Up Best Conducted Club”, “Junior Coach of the Year” along with several volunteer contribution honours including “SMJFL Life Membership” – Peter Martin (2022), and “Outstanding Contribution to Junior Football Award”– Steve Schreuder (2023).

In 2023 we won the U15 Girls Division 1 Premiership and the U12 Mixed Division 3 Premiership with over 50% of our teams participating in finals. In 2022 we won the U14 Girls Division 1 Premiership and our U14 Port South Alliance team won the Div 2 Premiership.

Our President Annette Maloney was recently awarded the AFLW Community Ambassador for Victoria (2023) and the AFL Female Community Volunteer of the Year for 2022. She leads a passionate and dedicated group of committee members and volunteers at our club.
