Covid Update - June 3rd

Following yesterday’s announcement by the State Govt, SMJFL has updated all clubs.

In compliance with the Victorian Government’s directions and AFL Victoria advice, the following rulings from the league remain in place:

All training, for clubs, umpires and all other league programs remains suspended, until further notice; and
 All matches and social gathering events remain suspended, until further notice.

The league’s main priority remains the health and wellbeing of all players, coaches, umpires and volunteers of the league.

Due to the extension of the lockdown, there will be no home and away games on Sunday 6 June (Round 8).

The league will meet with Presidents on Thursday 3 June at 6:30pm to discuss the impacts of this announcement.

In the meantime there are some great resources online so you can still enjoy footy at home or get out and practice your skills with a friend.
