Further funding from State Government for Murphy Reserve Pavilion

Very exciting news this morning for all clubs that call J L Murphy Reserve home with a further $538,000 funding commitment from Martin Foley and the state government towards the redevelopment of our pavilion.

With a commitment of $1.9 million from the City of Port Phillip plus $700k originally contributed by the State government, we now have a total of $3,138,000 with clubs looking at contributing a further $200k to meet the total cost of the redevelopment.

All clubs have worked together on an agreed master plan and the City of Port Phillip will now begin a community consultation process before final plans and timelines for completion are announced.

We thank all members of our community who have contributed to the consultation process with particular thanks to Martin Foley and the State Government, as well as Bernadene Voss and the City Of Port Phillip for working with us to achieve the best outcome for all members of our community. It is a great outcome.
